What Did God Tell You to Do?

As we begin 2026, the question we should reflect on our purpose, destiny, and plans for our lives. The Lord gave us an assignment. How close are we to completing it? Have we obeyed the voice of the Lord? Have we sought His wisdom and direction? Are we committed to obeying the Lord no matter the cost? The Bible tells us obedience is better than sacrifice (I Sam. 15:22) This means it is better to hear God's voice and do as He commands, rather than make religious sacrifices thinking that will please the Lord.
When God gives you instructions, He is not concerned about the opinions of men. He expects you to trust Him fully and wait for Him to reward your faith openly. He does not care if people like what you are doing. He does not expect you to get praise or validation from others. He expects you to follow His lead especially if people disagree with you.
If approval of men was necessary every time the Lord gave you an assignment, many things would never get done. People would judge your hearing based on natural abilities and resources. If they could not see it, you would be discouraged from doing it. Few people have faith enough to believe God for the unseen, not to mention the impossible. People want God to be logical and His evidence tangible. Neither is true of God. He never moves in natural ways. He is spirit and those who worship Him must do so in spirit and truth. (John 4:24)
We are in the kingdom realm of faith. Churchism is dead. Whatever we do going forward will require supernatural faith and favor. If we obey God, we will have favor of God and man. (Luke 2:52) If we are willing and obedient, we will eat of God's grace, goodness, and mercy. (Isaiah 1:19) Kingdom means to bring the heavens to the earth and live as Christ intended. The Lord's desire is that we experience the fullness of His abundant love, joy, and peace. This will only happen when we obey the Lord's commands - the evidence of our love for Him. (John 14:15)
There is much work for us to do in the earth. Let's believe the Lord and trust Him. He has never failed. He has never led us astray. Every word of God is flawless. (Proverbs 30:5) Do what the Lord has instructed you to do and you will surely experience the blessing of the Lord. (Proverbs 10:22)
