"Listen, for I have trustworthy things to say; I open my lips to speak what is right. My mouth speaks what is true, for my lips detest wickedness. All the words of my mouth are just; none of them is crooked or perverse. To the discerning all of them are right; they are upright to those who have found knowledge. ' - Proverbs 8:6-9
Information, thoughts, and ideas are communicated through our words. The process of communication begins by what we hear. Words are processed and filtered through our minds. Words align with our values and beliefs and stored in our heart. We communicate with others through our hearts. If negative is in our heart is comes out of our mouth. If positive is stored in our heart it comes out of our mouth. Life and death is in the power of our tongue; therefore, we can build or destroy people by what we say in their hearing.
Spiritual maturity involves saying the right things, the right way, at the right time. if our words do not build up people, we are not speaking in maturity or in love. Our attitude, tone, and motive, are key in getting our message through with effectiveness. People will receive what we say when it is backed with love. Messages backed by hatred, bitterness, resentment, and unforgiveness will never be received.
People with unresolved conflicts and trauma will speak evil toward others. This evil is often misguided and misdirected, not intended for the innocent, but for people part of the broken relationships. Undeserving people often take the brunt of broken hearts and wounded souls. Such conversations included a constant restatement of problems and issues, but not solutions or promises given by the Word of God to help and heal the wounded.
Each day we must confess the Word of God over our lives, our family, our appointments, and assignments. We must trust the Word of God to heal and deliver. Every promise of God is true. If we believe His Word, we will see His promises manifest in our lives. If we do not, we will remain heart broken and unfulfilled. You will have peace, joy, love, and contentment by the words of your mouth. Speak what you desire, not what you don't. Confess the promise. Do not confirm the facts.

"A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the harvest of his lips shall he be filled." - Proverbs 18:20
